Recent celeb divorces

Yes we all know it; celebrities go through divorces like everyone else.  It's hard to believe huh.  Well of course not, but some of the former celeb power couples such as Tony and Eva Parker and Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds are making headlines.

IMO: I definitely did not expect to see Tony and Eva separate because a) Eva is gorgeous, I mean come on! and b) they seemed so happy together.  Maybe not all seems well when behind the scenes.  They must have experienced problems like all married couples go through because they ended there marriage after several years of happiness and memories.  Some reports speculate that Tony cheated, which is the normal banter of some gossip outlets.  However, all rumors aside, I wish them nothing but luck and happiness in the future.

Another opinion: Scarlett and Ryan seemed like a happy couple as well.  Obviously they were young but we obviously in love because they kept their married life as secretive as possible.  It goes to show that they wanted to make it work.  Hence, the question: why break up after only two years?  The answer must not be simple because love works in complicated ways.  Like the Tony and Eva divorce rumors, some reports circulate that reportedly state Ryan possibly cheated.  Honestly, the gossip mill is intervening on something that is beyond measure.  It's best to leave them be and work out the specfics.

In all, celebs go through divorces too, and the incessant chatter won't stop.  Hence why Demi and Ashton should be thanked for their efforts to fight the gossip, and move on with their lives.  It's beautiful to see love still lives in celebs hearts too.

Style Trends

Lately from the looks of it neutral colors, accessories and sweaters are the craze.  It is time to put these clothing trends into perspective because it has been too long since I've played fashion hit or miss.  Am I wrong or am I missing something?  Maybe I should update my style considering celebs are in the style game.

Tuning into the media--tabloids, TV and Internet primarily--they have worn pretty cool clothes lately.  Of course some starlets in mind--the Kardashians (Yeah I know, who saw that coming?), Jessica Simpson, Ashley Greene,  Dakota Fanning, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ashlee Simpson and well many more.

On People.com's StyleWatch, there is a photo gallery of stars (A few of them mentioned in the previous paragraph) showing off airline ware while boarding flights or leaving airports.  Kim Kardashian donned a black-and-white-patterned poncho with black suede boots while Gyllenhall sported an all denim look with brown leather boots.  Anne Hathaway decided to dress different with a red-striped blouse, loose fitting dress pants, a black dress coat and black flats.  Or Ryan Reynolds wearing a light gray dress shirt with canvas-like tennis shoes and rocking brown sunglasses--relaxed and profiling while boarding a flight.

Comfort is key and they seem to feel comfortable with the clothes they wear.

Perhaps comfort is key for star fashion this year.  Whatever the trends, many of us celebrity fanatics await for the next move from celebrities who are trend setters.

Banner design

I wanted to thank Nikki Martinez for creating such a nice, awesome banner for this blog.  It really has liven up the blog.

So all the credit goes to her for the banner design.

I applaud her and the fact she did not mind creating the banner.

Thanks Nikki!  One love!

Time for the celebs to boogie woogie the night away

The latest list of celebs that will premiere in the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” has been released and it seems there are some fierce competitors who will bring the challenge.

Although I am not a “Dancing” junkie, I must say the line-up sounds interesting and worth some viewing time.

Just a look-see at the list for a moment:

R n’ B songbird Brandy, MTV reality heart throb and abs-extraordinaire Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, teen mom and daughter of the opinionated Alaskan politician Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, former MTV “Hills” reality starlet and model Audrina Patridge, comedienne Margaret Cho, retired NBA star Rick Fox, legendary and reputable actress Jennifer Grey, actor David Hasselhoff, “Brady Bunch”  TV mom Florence Henderson, “That’s So Raven” co-star Kyle Massey, award winning musician Michael Bolton and retired NFL athlete Kurt Warner.

As the new tip tap dancers set up for the premiere, there is much speculation about who will win the competition. Regardless of the outcome, this season is bound to bring much anticipated attention and some air time.

Who will take it all? Who will bring the fire? It is left to the eyes and imagination!

The eleventh season of “Dancing with the Stars” is set for the air on Sept. 21.

Celebs Use Twitter? No Way, José!

An illustrative picture of the megahit social networking website Twitter.  Courtesy of Getty Images

In this day and age Twitter is a launching pad to self-promotions or shameless publicity for many public figures of the celeb-o-sphere. I mean, even though the Twitter tactic could be an outlet for many celebrities such as Britney Spears, Russell Simmons, Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Demi Lovato, Zac Efron and well you get the picture. Alright, so it is obvious celebs use Twitter.

Evidently it maybe shameful for some but many people get fascinations about reading micro-blog updates from celebrities Twitter accounts. For instance, if Kim Kardashian is at a photo shoot, she may tweet a Twitpic of the wardrobe changes she goes through. It is an exclusive inside look at celebrities lives that we never thought become possible to see.

Personally, celebrities who open up on Twitter gain many fans and followers. Why? It is because they are seen in a humanistic sense; a personal, vulnerable and public side is viewed upon the public.

However, if a scandal hits and celebs try to put abrupt end to rumors on Twitter it could only help or hurt them. It is best for celebs to use Twitter to illustrate their lives for positive, thought-provoking or progressive matters. For instance, when celebs a few such as Kim, Khloé and Kim Kardashian, Josh Strickland and Kimora Lee Simmons—along with a plethora of others—posed for the NO H8 Champaign, it went to their advantages. That specific cause was a positive turn upon their careers.

Reality TV Show Dramas!

So there is no doubt, many of us like catching up on reality TV shows, but don’t we love the dramas?!?  I think so.  Let’s flip the switch to the outlandish but juicy “Real Housewives of New Jersey” or check out the latest trash talking and crazy antics on “Keeping up with the Kardashians”.  Bloop!  Here we go.

Regrettably, there is more than one reality TV shows we just have to watch weekly or daily, our views vary constantly.  A majority of viewers feel the need to catch up on “Big Brother” or megahit “American Idol”.  Secretly, I admire some motives of “American Idol” but personally don’t watch it.

Reality TV shows are difficult to turn away from, they are EVERYWHERE!  It seems more and more reality TV shows are produced and aired.  “Dancing with the Stars”, “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” and the “Real World” series are just a few that seem to have longevity in the television realm.

The juicier and more drama make the shows even better.  Either attempting to flip a table in the middle of a fiery dinner and argument is enough on Bravo or fist pumping with oily, jelled hairstyles and wearing flashy clothes at trendy bars and clubs creates popularity on MTV—it is all about producing entertaining television to attract viewers to form pools of loyal audiences.  That is why many of us tune into what we want to watch.  Viewers who surf channels to favorite reality TV programs secretly crave the drama because it is either a source of escape or form of entertainment.

All in all, reality TV is here to stay for a long period of time.  It is a change many people have adapted to or refuse to admit.  Perhaps, reality TV could possible trump many legendary or good cable or nationally broadcast TV programs.  Ouch!  It is sad but maybe true.

Let the Katy Perry-mania begin

The countdown to colorful pop star Katy Perry’s new CD, “Teenage Dream” has begun. The album is slated to be released Tuesday, August 24.

She may have kissed a girl and liked it, but now she wearing short-shorts and mini bikinis on her top. Perry has created a new image to her updated sound with an upcoming CD that maybe one of her best yet.

“Teenage Dream” features a string of recent hits some include the megahits “California Gurls”, “Teenage Dream” and the newly release song via YouTube and mp3 mogul iTunes, “Not Like the Movies”. These new ditties may sound similar to her songs from “One of the Boys” but add some new color to her new spunk and flare. Perry probably has outdone herself this time on her second CD with Capitol Records.

Will you pick up a new copy of her jams? I certainly will and take a few listens on repeat when I get my hands on the release.

Bring it on Katy; we will be here where you know a place where the grass is always greener.
